Marsterton show

On Friday night my mum, sister, other sister, our dog  and our three horses me went to Masterton show. We went over the Rimataka hill witch was really steep and windy. We stopped at subway and got dinner then carried on it took us about two and a half hours to get there. When we got there we got the horses out and set up there yards, got ready for bed then went to bed.

When I woke up at six the next morning  I got dressed, did my hair then feed the horses. When I got back to the truck I had a up and go. About an hour later I started getting my pony ready, got changed then got on and started walking to my ring.

When I got there I saw some people I know doing a practice round witch I didn't do because my horse was already doing a lot and he didn't need to do one. I then warmed up and herd my name called, went to the gate and did my intro round witch is seventy centermeters this was my practise round even though it was a round but It wasn't qualifying for horse of the year/ nationals. I was doing show hunter witch is judged on style and rythem. I did a  good round and came second in the class.

When I had got my ribbon I did my second round this was now eighty this was the high points round. Another good round coming third now I have more points !! I wait for my next tern then go in again. I do a good round and come second in the championship round. I get fifth in my next round I cant remember what is was called.

The big ponies witch my sister is in then do a  round. The next  class is equitation you can be from each category to do this. I do my round I start with a double witch sadly we had a stop at but once I cycles and did it again I did a really nice round sadly I had that stop and got points of my score so I didn't place in that class I would have got second to if I  didn't have a stop.

I go back to the truck un tack my horse,put him away then hang out with my friends. When I got back their were dogs everywhere!! There were even a few in our horse truck there was a really cute black and white one called Molly that belonged  to the people that were parked next to us.

Then we found our cousin Libby she was riding to. We watched some kids do like a show thing and ate dinner then we turned around and found there was a dog eating off our barbecue. A bit later I  went to bed.

The next day I woke up got ready then rode again instead today I was doing some showjumping. I walked my course then rode my horse loved it this was more fun!!! We zoomed around clear then got a ribbon. My sister did some rounds then we packed up and went home.

It was a long drive when we got home we did animals then un packed the truck and I went to bed !!!!!!!!!!! I only need two more points until I'm qualified YAY.

Getting ready for Marsterton show

Tonight, My sister Aleisha, Lauren,Mum and me are going to marsterton show to compete in show hunter. When we get there we'll get yards for the horses than have dinner and sleep in the horse truck.

Tomorrow and on Sunday  I'll be competing in four classes on my horse. My sisters are competing in different classes than me and my mum and dog will just be watching and helping us.

This will be a very fun weekend and I hope my horse goes well.

Sports are really good they're physical actives. They keep you fit and help with overall health,you always try to do your best and it is so fun to talk about it. There are indervisal sports and team sports. 

Sports are great because  they make you feel  happy and  keep you healthy. They  make your heart and brain work hard witch helps get your mind off things.

Sports are the best because people are always trying to be there best. They make people try their harddest to do their best and acopalish something. When you do accomplish something it makes you feel proud and happy.

It's so fun to talk about sports to friends. It makes you feel proud and happy espeshily when you have done the best you posible can do.

Sports are amazing and help you feel happy and healthy.

showhunter champs 2019

Show hunter champs is held in Foxton on the first weekend of the holidays every year,it goes for three days. My sisters Aleisha and  Lauren competed in the show as well as me.

Show hunter champs is a horse jumping show judged on style. There were about  22 teams that compete,my team was Horowhenua. There were eight people in each team two in each category.

The category are on the size of your pony/horse. Cat A is for the little ponies they jump courses of sixty and seventy centermeters. Cat B my group is for the medium sized ponies we jump seventy and eighty. Cat C is for the big ponies witch Aleisha is in,she jumps eighty and ninety. My other sister Lauren is in the hack ring this category is for horses they jump ninety to a meter ten.

My horse mickey was really good we came in the top 8 out of 44 in every class. After everyone finished there last round we had prize giving. All the teams lined up on there horses and the announcer began.

She started with cat A one of our team members won the overall. "And for category B" she started calling people up to get there ribbons"forth place Jordan Blakeley on Wind Spirit" everyone started cheering and I trotted up to get my ribbon."And in first place Emily Oliver on Summer Feister" My partner trotted up and got her ribbon and a cover for winning. Cat C was done when got back and another team member was getting her first place ribbon and cover for winning the hack overall. Then she called out my pair and I had one the whole thing. We go up again and get another ribbon and a troffe. Then she calls out sixth fifth fourth third second and finally "HOREWHENUA HAS WON THE WHOLE THING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TEN YEARS" We all trot up and get another ribbon a cover and a troffe. We all get profechinal photos and pack up then head home.

Overall it was so fun. I can't wait till next year !!!!!!!!!!
